Mural on the wall from just inside the door (no "frame") followed by a shot from the hall (the open doors are the "frame").

I kinda like the NO FRAME pic. But the chairs ARE framing it quite well. I believe the chairs and the lights are directing your eye directly to the focus of the photo.
A nice take on framing. It just goes to show anything can be viewed as a frame. The chairs and the doors lead you directly into something interesting. Just what photos should do, tke you by the hand and lead you somewhere.
No contest! The shot framed by the doors is much more interesting. It provides more lines to draw the eye to the sculpture. More interesting shapes and colors, too, with the floor, carpets and chairs.
Love the wall hanging! I like the second one better-There's so many frames-the doors, the floor and the tiles or carpet on the floor all frame that area.

Very Nice
I definitely like the framed one better...it just gives it more depth and leads your eyes to the main subject!
That is one great wall-hanging. I like looking through the doors and anticipating the close-up as I near the wall.
