An inch or 4 of snow every day makes layers on the roof. This is a view of a corner from below -- after knocking off the bigger icicles... I thought it looked better in grayscale.

The black and white really shows off the layers much better, today we got up to 39 degrees and everything is starting to melt...what a mess!
Those really are layers in the snow. I am so glad we don't live in snow country anymore. Sorry I haven't stopped by to see your blog...I had the wrong address in my list. I'm glad I found you!
Nice lines and curves in these layers, too. The b&w really does enhance the contrast. We've got a snowy mess in Massachusetts, too. I'm amazed at how differently we all choose to take photos of snow. Your other snow pics are great, too.

Nice and you really can see those layers. Icicles are always cool looking.
Nice catch on the layers. Too bad it had to be snow. The grayscale was also a good choice in editing. Warm up soon.
A good choice for the theme- hope it is gone by now. Good no doubt that you knocked off the biggest ice first..

The B&W does well for this image. I would have liked to have seen all the icicles. Great shot of the layers.
